We are pleased to invite you to the next conference organised by ULB Alumni, which will highlight sustainable innovation in a sector close to the hearts of Belgians, the brewing industry.
Supported by Marius Gilbert, Vice-Rector for Research, Valorisation, Culture and Scientific Mediation, this event will unveil our project "Beer in Mind".
The vision of Beer in Mind?
Create a university brewery at ULB that embodies innovation, sustainability, and collaboration. This brewery will not only be a place of production but a vibrant space where students, alumni, and beer enthusiasts will come together to co-create, innovate, and learn.
We wish for it to become a pillar of the university community, an applied research laboratory, and a model for sustainable transition in the brewing sector.

The conference will be followed by a tasting of beers offered by 3 breweries created by Alumni, including our project:
- The DrinkDrink! Brewery with Jean Van den Broeck (Graduate of the Faculty of Sciences)
- The Brasserie des Eaux Vives with Pierre Campion (Graduate of the École Polytechnique of Brussels)
- Beer in Mind with Stéphane Bruyneel (Graduate of the Faculty of Sciences)and Julien Deléglise with our two first beers resulting from our co-creation programme, La Galoche and La Première Sess.
